A palestra integra pesquisa teórica e prática para estudar novas formas de análise e expressão artísticas mediadas por processos tecnológicos, a partir da interação entre fontes físicas e virtuais. Discute o diálogo entre processos criativos e cognição vinculando-os ao uso de interfaces tecnológicas, computação musical, captura e armazenamento de movimento e de outros sinais vitais. Neste contexto, serão exploradas as inter-relações entre os diversos componentes que configuram processos interativos. Por fim, a aula exemplifica essa pesquisa interdisciplinar ao apresentar projetos criativos tais como instalações, sonificação científica e de ambientes virtuais, performance de música mista, sistemas interativos para improvisação em tempo real e obras generativas algorítmicas.
